Truth Be Told

Truth be told
and again you are bold
said just what I was expecting to hear.
It was said before
didn't really listen,
but when you block
things from your mind,
then it makes you foolish
beyond compare.

Many have said lots of untrusting
things, believed them for faced value
asking me to make choices that normally
I wouldn't make, but this is not the road
I wish to take.

The truth came in a form of a drunk soul
and sometimes it comes from the mostunexpected
places, But the truth was told no matter how bold,
the true has been sold!
